The Future of Shared Spaces
Over the last several months, DBI + FitzGerald imagined and explored the Future of Shared Spaces – a critical aspect of moving forward in a post-COVID world. We used a hypothetical mixed-use building as the testing ground. Our design studies combined practical, short-term changes for the post-pandemic era with more ambitious, beyond-the-horizon elements to look at how we might come together in the coming days, months, and years across residential and commercial properties.
Published here are some of our favorite elements from that effort; a few of the key ideas across the lobby, office, residences, and indoor/outdoor amenities that promote healthy living, comfortable work, and responsible social interaction.
