FitzGerald provided full architectural services for the adaptive reuse of the historic Somerset Hotel, built in 1927 in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood. The building, which will be placed on the National Register of Historic Places, stands 9 stories tall and includes 161 apartments.
The building contains 11,000 square feet of street-level retail space, and surface parking is accommodated on-site. Building Amenities include landscaped green roof and roof deck, fitness center, and community media center.
