This 525 room hotel with standalone restaurant, nightclub, meeting rooms and banquet space was purchased with the intention of implementing a phased upgrade of the facility while maintaining hotel operations.
The first phase is an extensive renovation of the guest room tower. Work includes the installation of a new energy efficient window wall system, replacement of the old horizontal through-wall HVAC units with ducted vertical units, a new exterior color scheme, and the complete renovation of the existing guest rooms including creation of new suites and handicap accessibility upgrades.
The second phase includes complete interior and exterior renovation of the adjacent low-rise building containing all of the hotel’s public areas–reception, lobby, fitness center, pool/spa, gift shop, meeting rooms, banquet spaces, restaurant, nightclub, administrative offices and support spaces. Reconfiguration of inefficient and underutilized back-of house spaces will allow the creation of additional meeting rooms with no loss of guest rooms or building expansion. Site improvements and landscaping will also be part of this phase.
