Since 1990, Richard Whitney has applied his passion for practical, engaging architecture to many of FitzGerald’s most successful commissions, large and small.
A leader in the firm’s pursuit of senior housing, affordable housing, and hospitality projects, Rick helps developers and owners realize their vision for their multifamily communities, hotels, conference centers, and restaurants. He is a champion of the firm’s belief that the adaptation and rehabilitation of older buildings is a viable and effective course of action to energize the performance of existing assets. From individual buildings to planned communities, Rick has led projects that enhance the built environment for existing tenants, new users, and surrounding communities. Rick’s skill and knowledge have contributed to the success of a diverse range of FitzGerald’s award-winning residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.
