The Salvation Army’s Western Plains Camp Broke Ground!

FitzGerald attended the Ground Breaking celebration of The Salvation Army’s Western Plains Camp.

FitzGerald’s team was on hand to celebrate the groundbreaking of improvements to The Salvation Army‘s Western Plains Camp in South Sioux City, Nebraska. Situated on Crystal Lake, the 113-acre camp—formerly known as Camp Goodwill—will be expanded to support new programs and a larger volume of guests and campers. Partnering with @thinkconfluence and DGR, the design team has expanded landscaping and pathways capturing the scenic forest and designed new lodges as well as a new chapel with picturesque views over the lake. Construction is expected to be completed by May 2022, in time for summer activities to begin.
