Employee Spotlight: Milanko Milesic, Senior Associate

Meet Milanko Milesic, Senior Associate, who is regarded for his knack for visualizing construction systems and details. Recently, he has been instrumental in the design and detailing of new cold-formed metal framed multifamily projects. He is systematic, rational, and steady in his approach to architecture and in the role of Project Architect, where he’s shown impressive leadership. His desire to build and create, affinity for well-designed public spaces, and seeing potential in every place is what led him to become an architect.

Milanko likes to explore the natural world and travel. His favorite memory from last year was escaping the city by traveling to Rocky Mountain National Park, Badlands National Park, and Black Hills National Forest. As stress relief, he envisions his travel dream of enjoying a cup of coffee anywhere along the coast of the Mediterranean Sea.

When not traveling, Milanko also explores making new dishes to improve his chef skills. Check out the photos to see him using his chef skills when we volunteered at Ronald McDonald House Charities! What teams did he compete in, while at @Glenbrook South High School, and what are his two—very relatable—pet peeves? Find out these answers and more in the questions we asked him below.
