Small Business Improvement Fund Returns to West Loop’s Kinzie Industrial Corridor

“Good news for property owners in the Kinzie Industrial Corridor TIF District: the Small Business Improvement Fund (SBIF) has once again been enacted in our area! This popular grant program provides matching contributions of up to $150K for capital improvements to industrial properties. SBIF-eligible expenses include interior buildouts, roof and window work, masonry, HVAC, environmental remediation, and more. Applications will open for a limited period beginning with a kickoff event to be announced, so start thinking about projects and watch your inbox for upcoming messages about SBIF.”
