FitzGerald continues to expand its talented, capable staff with the addition of Senior Architect Martin A. Salas, LEED AP, and Architects Malee Mookda, Chiao-Yin (Tin Tin) Chang, LEED Green Associate, and Chris Housley, LEED AP BD C.
Martin A. Salas, LEED AP has accepted a full-time position with FitzGerald as a Senior Architect after several months successfully collaborating with the firm on a contract basis. He brings extensive technical knowledge and experience from firms including Adrian Smith Gordon Gill Architecture, OWP&P, Perkins and Will, and Lohan Caprile and Goettsch / Goettsch Partners. His project experience includes a variety of projects in several countries, including residential projects in Argentina, high-end hotels in Brazil and China, high-end residences in India, low- and mid-rise buildings in Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabia, and a variety of mixed-use buildings throughout the United States.
Martin is a LEED Accredited Professional and a licensed architect in the State of Illinois. He earned his Master of Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Architecture and Urban Planning from Argentina’s Northeast National University.
Chris Housley, LEED AP BD C joins FitzGerald as an Architect with experience from firms such as Epstein Architecture, Middough Associates, and HOK in high-rise residential design and major healthcare projects including the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and Barnes Jewish Hospital St. Louis. Chris is a LEED Accredited Professional and earned his Bachelor of Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
Architect Chiao-Ying (Tin Tin) Chang, LEED Green Associate, comes to FitzGerald from MBH Architects in Alemeda, California, where she worked on high-end international retail projects for a Cupertino-based technology company. Prior to MBH, she worked at Kendall Young Associates of San Francisco with experience on educational and healthcare development. Tin Tin earned both her Master of Architecture and B.S. in Architectural Studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is a LEED Green Associate and a 2013 Revit Certified Professional.
Malee Mookda brings significant architectural design experience to her new position as Architect with FitzGerald, having worked on major restaurant and resort projects throughout southern Asia for the firm SODA (Thailand) Ltd. of Bangkok. She is a Licensed Architect in Thailand with the Council of Thai Architects, and she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from Rangsit University in Pathum Thani, Thailand.
