Enterprise Green Communities and ENERGY STAR Training

IHDA’s 2013 Qualified Allocation Plan includes up to 4 points for Green Initiatives Certifications! Join the Illinois Housing Council on November 30th to learn how to incorporate Enterprise Green Communities and EPA ENERGY STAR certifications into your next project. The training will take place on Friday, November 30, 2012 from 9:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Chicago Center for Green Technology, 445 N. Sacramento Boulevard, Chicago, Illinois, 60612.
Begin the day with an overview of Enterprise Green Communities and stay to examine the new ENERGY STAR program for Multifamily High Rise properties. This program aligns with Enterprise Green Communities and LEED for Homes requirements. Participants will understand the structure of the ENERGY STAR program, requirements under the High Rise version of the program, and the process of certification.
