Designed to seek LEED-CI Silver Certification

Respectful of its location in a turn-of-the-century warehouse building in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood, the offices of FitzGerald Associates Architects are designed with style and functionality in mind.  FitzGerald’s interior design department chose finishes and furnishings which enhance the warmth and charm of the building-which was placed on the National Register of Historic Places by the firm.

Representing the firm’s decades of experience in adaptive reuse of historic buildings, interior spaces blend old manufacturing technology with the modern high-tech needs of a contemporary tenant.  Original two-story turned wood columns and exposed ceiling complement formal conference rooms, meeting rooms, a fully furnished kitchen and customizable, adaptable workspaces.  Individual workspaces have been arranged to maximize space, storage and collaboration among design teams.

An expansion of the office took place in 2007 adding 3,500 SF of workspaces, an all-staff meeting area and a new kitchen and driving the firm to seek LEED-CI Silver Certification for the space.
