Steve Ryniewicz, AIA
Principal
Steve began working for FitzGerald Associates Architects in 1990 while still seeking his degree. Even then we recognized that his enthusiasm and talent offered great potential. In 1992 Steve graduated from University of Illinois at Chicago with a professional bachelor of architecture degree with an emphasis in design and joined FitzGerald Associates Architects on a full time basis. Since that time, Steve has acquired a depth of experience in single-family residential projects, town homes as well as mid-rise and high-rise multi-use buildings.
He currently leads the firm's mentoring program in addition to managing significant residential and commercial projects. He has also successfully completed a number of historic renovation and adaptive reuse buildings. Most recently, Steve has been involved in the management of a number of complex CHA redevelopment projects.
His significant contributions have contributed to the success of projects as diverse as Park Row & Centennial Court at Central Station, Gotham Lofts, Belmont River Club Town Homes, 201 North Wells, 912 West Lake Street, 212 East Cullerton, Jazz on the Boulevard and the Madden Wells Redevelopment. Steve's consistent leadership, sound judgment, and pragmatic approach to problem solving make him a great asset to the firm and to our clients.
