FitzGerald Associates Architects designed this new multifamily residential tower over street level retail on a 32,000SF parcel flanking the Eisenhower Expressway on the north. Dramatically rising from a parking garage base – a base clad in masonry to relate with adjacent neighborhood loft buildings on the north and translucent panel on the west and south-facing expressway side – the 23 story glass and concrete loft-style tower contains 325 units and 385 parking spaces. Atop the 7-story parking garage is a landscaped roof garden and amenity floor containing health club, meeting rooms and a business center. |
