Rivera Joins FitzGerald Associates Architects
Chicago, Ill. (July 2007) - Francisco Rivera, 32, of Chicago, has joined FitzGerald Associates as an Architect. His responsibilities will include the production of construction documentation for the firm’s residential and mixed-use projects.
“With more than ten years of experience in architecture and interior design in project types that coincide with our target markets of residential, hospitality, and retail, he brings a range of skills that are highly compatible with our business model,” said Steve Wasilowski, Chief Operating Officer. “Francisco brings high energy and a passion for architecture we found compelling—We’re delighted to have him on our team.”
Since joining FitzGerald Associates, Francisco has been involved with 847 W. Jackson, a mid-rise conversion to private student housing. Prior to joining FitzGerald, Rivera gained experience in a diverse range of retail, hospitality, corporate interior and civic design projects. He graduated from the University of Illinois in 1997 with a B.S. in Architecture.
