Morton and Contreras join FitzGerald Associates Architects
November 2006 - Kurtis J. Morton, 25, and Osvaldo Contreras, 23, have joined FitzGerald Associates Architects as staff architects. Both will be responsible for developing construction documentation, building plans and conducting site and code analysis under the direction of a supervising architect.
Morton, of Liberty Township, Ohio, previously worked at Cole & Russell Architects as a Project Associate. He also worked at Design Forum as a Fixture Specialist, at 57th Street Bookcases as a Project Manager and interned at both Claude Vasconi & Partners and the State of Missouri Division of Design and Construction. He earned his bachelor?s degree in architecture from the University of Kansas.
Contreras, of Chicago, IL, previously worked at Antunovich Associates. Before that, he worked at B.A. Taylor & Associates as an Associate Project Manager. He earned his bachelor's degree in architectural studies from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he was vice president of the Society of Hispanic Professional Architects.
