Martinez Earns LEED AP Certification
Chicago, Ill. (July, 2007) - Luis A. Martinez, 25, of Chicago, has successfully earned certification as a LEED Accredited Professional with the United States Green Building Council. LEED, or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction, and operation of high performance green buildings. As a LEED AP, Martinez will be an integral component of several of the firm’s upcoming projects seeking LEED certification.

Luis Martinez joined FitzGerald Associates Architects in early 2007. He graduated from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana with a B.S. in Architecture in 2004. Luis is a Construction Document Technologist as part of the Construction Specification Institute and is a member of the Chicago chapter of the Urban Land Institute. His current projects include 1035 W. Van Buren, a 24-story retail and residential mixed-use development.
