Colonna Joins FitzGerald Associates Architects
Chicago, Ill. (February 2007) - Marcus Colonna, 36, of Chicago, has joined FitzGerald Associates as a Project Architect. He will contribute his design expertise during the development phases of several of the firm’s projects, with a focus on maintaining the project’s design intent as well as project management and coordination responsibilities. He will focus on some of the firm’s high- and mid-rise buildings.

Marcus Colonna brings over 12 years of diverse experience in many facets of residential, educational, and retail architecture as well as urban planning and graphic design work. He is a member of the National Trust for Historic Preservation and a past Chair of the City of Hamtramck, Michigan Planning Commission. Colonna graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy with a Bachelor of Architecture. Since joining the firm, he has been involved with two high-rise projects, 14th & Union and Carroll Place, as well as the mid-rise buildings at Oakwood Shores.
