Yott Earns Illinois Architecture License

Chicago, Ill. (November 2008) -Kristi Yott, 30, of Matteson, Project Architect with the Chicago Architecture firm FitzGerald Associates Architects, has successfully earned her license as a professional architect in Illinois.

“It has been gratifying to see how Kristi has matured and grown since first joining the firm,” said Pat FitzGerald, Managing Principal.  “Attainment of her license is a great accomplishment for her as well as an excellent enhancement to our firm’s professional abilities.”

Kristi Yott began working for FitzGerald Associates Architects in 1999 while still seeking her degree.   In 2000, she graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies.  Since joining the firm, Kristi has been involved in high density residential work, including townhouses, lofts, and condominiums, as well as several of the firm’s commercial projects.

Established in 1919 as Rissman & Hirschfeld, Fitzgerald Associates Architects is a fourth generation Chicago architectural firm. The firm offers its clients a continuum of residential and commercial design services, including development feasibility studies; site design and planning; architectural design; space planning; interior design; historical research and restoration; contract documents and specifications; permit acquisitions; and field observations.
