MacDonald, Skidmore Named Architects
Chicago, Ill. (September, 2008) - Scott MacDonald, 26, and Nick Skidmore, 27, both of Chicago, have been named Architects with FitzGerald Associates Architects. Both MacDonald and Skidmore previously held positions as Staff Architects with the firm. Their responsibilities will be expanded to include a greater emphasis on project management and the creation of construction documents.

Scott MacDonald joined the firm in July of 2006 with knowledge in construction and a background in architecture, having earned a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Since joining the firm, he has worked on several single-family and high-rise residential projects.
Nick Skidmore began working for FitzGerald Associates Architects in 2005. He studied for a year in Florence, Italy at Palazzo dei Cerchi and graduated from the Honors College at Kent State University. Nick also has a Master of Architecture Degree from Kent’s College of Architecture and Environmental Design. Since joining the firm, Nick has primarily been involved with Winthrop Club and other high-rise residential projects.
