FitzGerald Associates Names New Architect, Project Architect
Chicago, Ill. (February 22, 2008) - FitzGerald Associates Architects has recently named Bradley Beck, 28, of Chicago, to the position of Project Architect from Architect and Luis Martinez, 26, also of Chicago, to Architect from Staff Architect.
“Brad and Luis represent the new generation of exceptional young architects that FAA has attracted and trained to provide the high level of insight and service that our clients have come to expect,” said Pat FitzGerald, managing principal. “They are both gifted architects with an intense dedication and a real talent for the work that we do here, and we are pleased to acknowledge their professional growth and achievement with this promotion.”
Brad Beck began working for FitzGerald Associates Architects in 2005. He worked in Cleveland for two years before moving to Chicago, collaborating mainly on high-end custom homes and high-end retail developments. Since joining the firm, Beck has been involved in the design and the detailing of mid- and high-rise residential projects including One Place Condominiums and South Loop Shops, The Residences of Carroll Place, Maple Views and River Pointe Condominiums. Beck earned his B.S. in Architecture in 2001 and a Master of Architecture in 2003 from the University of Cincinnati.
Luis Martinez joined FitzGerald Associates Architects in early 2007. Luis is a LEED Accredited Professional, a Construction Document Technologist as a part of the Construction Specification Institute and a member of the Chicago chapter of the Urban Land Institute. His current projects include 1035 West Van Buren, Wilson Yard, Metro Place, and 1890 Maple. Martinez graduated from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture in 2004.
